You can catch char, salmon, pike, brown trout and rainbow trout.
The hotel is sited in the village of Dalmally in Strathorchy, with spectacular mountain views all round and three acres of beautiful landscaped gardens. The famous salmon river “Orchy” flows down the Strath and the favourite morning walk passes the ancient medieval church continuing down to the 300 year old “Wade” Bridge to watch for salmon, trout and otter.

Craigroyston Guest House
guests have seasonal views of the surrounding hills and
mountains with frequent sightings of wildlife. Three kinds
of deer, buzzards and a variety of other birds are often
spotted from the house and in the area. Guests have access
to the pleasant garden, which is bounded by trees.
Originally built over one hundred years ago as a hunting
lodge, Glenorchy Lodge has been tastefully converted by
Patricia and Hector Whyte into a comfortable hotel which
still retains the feel of a family home.
Riverside cottage is ideally placed as a base for gentle touring by car or for the more energetic hill walker, Mountain climber or Country sports enthusiast.
It is run by Graham and Tracy Boyles in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
